On a summers evening in a London park a group of actors rehearse their lines for their annual open-air production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Two grand caryatids become a captive audience to proceedings – magically awakening to offer their thoughts on the nature of storytelling, characterisation and authenticity.
